Ghee has been loved for generations for its rich flavour, golden colour and versatility. It has a place in traditional cooking, but its appeal is just as relevant in today’s kitchen.
At Gheelicious, we wanted to make this much-loved ingredient feel simple, approachable and genuinely delicious. Our focus is on careful preparation, great flavour and creating a product you can reach for every day.
Whether you are frying breakfast, roasting vegetables, finishing a curry or baking something special, Gheelicious is made to fit naturally into the way you cook.
Traditional at heart. Modern in the kitchen. Gheelicious.
Born and raised in India, I grew up surrounded by the rich tradition of homemade ghee, lovingly prepared by my mother with her own unique touch. She would infuse it with pink salt and turmeric, creating a flavour that was not only delicious but also filled with warmth, love, and memories of home.
That tradition has stayed with me throughout my life. As someone who has always valued health, natural ingredients, and nourishing food, I wanted to bring a little piece of my heritage into the lives of others.
Gheelicious was born from a desire to honour my mother’s cherished tradition while creating something special for my own family, including my three beautiful children, and the wider community.
Made with British produce and lovingly crafted in Leicestershire, Gheelicious brings together the authentic traditions of India with the quality and care of locally sourced ingredients. Our aim is to create a product that celebrates heritage, supports British produce, and brings a naturally delicious addition to your kitchen.
Every jar is made with love, passion, and a commitment to quality. For me, Gheelicious is more than just ghee, it’s a way of sharing my story, keeping a family tradition alive, and bringing people together through good food.
From my mother’s kitchen to your home in Britain, I’m proud to share a piece of my heritage, one spoonful at a time.
Ghee is a traditional form of clarified butter that has been enjoyed across South Asian and other cuisines for generations. During preparation, the butter is heated and the water and milk solids are removed. This leaves a golden cooking fat with a rich, buttery and slightly nutty taste.
We gently toast the milk solids until they deepen into sweet, rich toffee notes before triple-filtering for absolute golden clarity.
Velvety and melt-in-your-mouth at room temperature. No rock-hard cold butter struggles, separation, or waxy film.
Crafted in Leicestershire from British dairy herds that graze lush pastures, guaranteeing wholesome omega-rich butterfat.
Pure clarified butterfat that is naturally 99.9% lactose-free and allergen-friendly. Gentle on sensitive tummies.
Moisture is cooked off during slow simmering. Stays silky fresh in your kitchen pantry for over 12 months without refrigeration.
Sear steaks, fry eggs, and roast British vegetables without sputtering, bitter acrid smoke, or burnt butter taste.
Good ghee does not need to be complicated.
At Gheelicious, we believe quality starts long before the jar reaches your kitchen. It begins with carefully sourced dairy, continues through a slow and considered preparation process, and finishes with the unmistakable golden colour, inviting aroma and rich flavour that make traditionally prepared ghee so distinctive.
Rather than treating ghee as simply another cooking fat, we see it as an ingredient worth making properly.
Our small-batch approach gives each batch the attention it deserves. The butter is gently heated so moisture evaporates and the milk solids separate from the butterfat. What remains is the beautifully clear, aromatic cooking fat generations of households have valued for its flavour and versatility.
No unnecessary complexity. Just a timeless kitchen staple, thoughtfully made for the modern table.
